Neymar innovates and gives Brazil the full mark in the World Cup qualifiers

The Brazilian national team continued to win the full mark in the South American qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and beat its guest, Peru, 2-0 this morning at the “Arena Pernambuco” stadium in Recife.

The Brazilian team owes a great deal of thanks to Neymar, who scored the second goal after making the advance goal scored by Everton Ribeiro.

The victory over Peru came a few days after Brazil's match against Argentina in Sao Paulo was interrupted in a chaotic atmosphere.

The match was suspended after officials from the Brazilian health authorities entered the field to prevent four players from the Argentine national team, who are professionals in the English Premier League, from participating in the match.

This step came due to a conflict with the protocols to combat the emerging corona virus in Brazil, as the regulations stipulate that anyone coming from Britain to Brazil must be subject to a 14-day quarantine.

The Brazilian team opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Neymar passed the ball to Ribeiro to put it in the net, after the same player scored the 1-0 victory goal for Brazil against Chile one week ago.

Five minutes before the end of the first half, Neymar, the French player of Paris Saint-Germain, added the second goal for the Brazilian national team.

The Brazilian team has won all eight matches it has played so far in the qualifiers, raising its score to 24 points in the lead.

Neymar raised his score with the Brazilian national team to 69 goals, on the same day that Argentine star Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick, which led the team to beat his Bolivian counterpart 3-0. Messi broke the number of Brazilian legend Pele and topped the list of top scorers for the Federation South American Football Association (CONMEBOL) with 79 goals.
