SHL is one of the world's best hockey leagues that engages the whole of Sweden, from north to south.
- Here, hockey at the highest level is mixed with great local interest, rivalries and emotions and we will take all of this into account in our new program, says SVT's sports director Åsa Edlund Jönsson.
The hockey program is broadcast on Thursdays at 22.00 on SVT Play and 22.30 on SVT1.
The program will include the evening's highlights but also news, snacks, analyzes and reports.
- We are happy that SHL gets a broad and initiated exposure in SVT.
SHL and the clubs have a dedicated audience and it is good that they are offered a new program with a focus on what happens and happens in the league, says SHL's CEO Jenny Silfverstrand.
"Perfect way to stay up to date"
The host will be Dusan Umicevic, who has watched both Swedish and international ice hockey for a long time.
The hockey program is broadcast every Thursday during the basic series and the playoffs.
