Ras Al Khaimah Club withdraws from the First Division

The Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah Club decided to withdraw from the first division competitions, against the background of the club not receiving the required financial support from the Football Association, according to what the club’s board chairman, Dr. Abdul Rahim Shaheen, told Sharjah Sports Channel today.

Shaheen indicated that the Football Association decided to stop providing support for amateur clubs in the current season, which amounts to 200,000 dirhams, which made the club unable to bear the financial burdens associated with the club's participation in amateur competitions for the current season.

On the other hand, the Football Association announced the cancellation of the match between Ras Al Khaimah and Al Orouba, which was scheduled for tomorrow in the preliminary round of the President's Cup, from the matches due to the withdrawal of Ras Al Khaimah Club.
