Frenchman Antoine Griezmann sent a message to the Spanish football fans, Atletico Madrid, after returning today to the team's training, to which he returned with a loan contract from Barcelona.
And he stated in his message to the fans: “I am returning,” after scoring two goals that led the French national team to a 2-0 victory over Finland yesterday in the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
Griezmann returned to Atlético again on a one-year loan contract from Barcelona, with the possibility of extending it for another year.
Griezmann, 30, sent a message to the fans through the official account of Atletico Madrid on the social networking site "Twitter", in which he said: "Hello Atletico fans, I'm back."
Griezmann scored 133 goals in 257 games during his first period with Atletico Madrid between 2014/2019, before moving to Barcelona in a deal worth 120 million euros (124 million dollars).
Griezmann was part of Atletico's squad under coach Diego Simeone when the team won the European League title in 2018, two years after helping the team reach the Champions League final.
