The Crown Prince of Fujairah receives the winners of the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received, in his office at the Emiri Diwan, the boxing team players from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, the winners of the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championship, which was held in Dubai last August.
His Highness stressed the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to provide all forms of support to young people in various types of sports to get the best results.
His Highness congratulated the winning players and the Fujairah Martial Arts Club team for the honorable achievement and the positive results they achieved in the tournament. His Highness also urged the players to continue training and continue participating in local and international competitions that add new successes to the record of players and sports clubs in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The players within the UAE boxing team won five medals: Rahma Al-Murshidi, who won the silver medal in the weight of 66 kilograms, and Maryam Adel, who won the silver medal in the weight of 81 kilograms, and Shahad Khamis, who won bronze in the weight of 71 kilograms, and Mohammed Al-Hafeiti, the bronze winner in the weight category. +91 kg, and Jawaher Gharib, bronze medalist in the 46 kg category.
The winners of the tournament expressed to His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, their thanks and appreciation for His Highness’s support, and his constant follow-up to the athletes from the sons of Fujairah, and to encourage talented in martial arts sports, to make more efforts, to achieve new achievements in their sports career, and raise the position of the UAE in the global sports field.
The meeting was attended by Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a number of Fujairah Martial Arts Club administrators.
