Al-Ahly of Egypt submits a complaint to the Attorney General against an Egyptian journalist

Al-Ahly Club of Egypt published a statement on its official website in which it confirmed the assignment of the club’s legal advisor to submit an urgent communication to the Egyptian Attorney General, and another to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, against one of the media professionals, and this comes in the wake of accumulated problems that appeared recently in the Egyptian sports street, especially after the coronation of Zamalek League title.

And the club said in its statement: “The board of directors of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, headed by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, held a meeting on Sunday evening, at the club’s headquarters on the island, to discuss many important files related to the club’s various sectors. The Public Prosecutor, and another to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, against one of the media professionals, "who crossed all boundaries of professionalism and responsibility, and began to urge hatred and stir up strife among the people of the country, and likened Al-Ahly club and its fans to "Nazi".

The statement added: “The council also decided to transfer him to investigation with the knowledge of legal affairs, as he is an active member of the club, given his transgression and departure from Al-Ahly’s values ​​and principles, in violation of the text of Articles (102 and 103) of the club’s statute.”
