The Brazil-Argentina match stopped minutes after its start due to “Corona” .. (Video)

The match between the Brazilian and Argentine national football teams, in the South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, was suspended minutes after its start due to a problem with the four Argentine players present at the stadium who belong to English Premier League clubs.

The match is part of the postponed sixth round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The start of the match was devoid of any technical features and was marred by some roughness from the players of the two teams that prompted the referee to intervene with verbal warnings.

But the match was stopped after only about five minutes of a problem on the field, in which the players of the two teams participated, before the two great Brazilian stars, Neymar da Silva and Argentine Lionel Messi, followed by Casemiro, the captain of the Brazilian team, to contribute to resolving the crisis.

But the problem was not resolved, which prompted the Argentine players to leave the green rectangle towards the changing rooms.

Four Argentine players, accused of violating travel rules set by the Brazilian government and who provided false information on the participation form, were allowed to participate in their country's match against Brazil.

Today, the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency asked the Federal Police to deport Emiliano Martinez, Emiliano Buendia, Cristian Romero and Giovanni Lo Celso, the Argentine quartet.

Despite this, the Argentine Football Association and the Brazilian government reached an agreement and allowed the players to participate in the match, provided that they leave Brazil immediately after the match.

But the problem that occurred minutes after the start of the match stopped the match amid a state of controversy and questions about the timing of the intervention to prevent the four players from participating in the match.

9 minutes after the Brazil-Argentina match, the Ministry of Health in Brazil stormed the stadium to stop the match. The

reason for the break-in is the Argentine players coming from England, as they were supposed to be kept in quarantine as long as they did not spend the required days outside England pic.twitter.com/0pPUDJVGVe
