The mountain bike cyclist was part of a trio that went straight to the race in Lenzerheide.

After less than half an hour, she lost to the lead and then had to chase from a fifth place.

In the end, she was able to finish third, 58 seconds behind the British winner Evie Richards, who took World Cup gold a week ago and who now took her first World Cup victory.

Rebecca McConnell, Australia, came second, 19 seconds behind Richards.

Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte came fourth and thus secured the World Cup title.

The 27-year-old Swede is second ahead of the final competitions in Snowshoe in West Virginia in the USA in just under two weeks.
