In Taekwondo, which became the first official event at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, Korea's only contestant, Joo Jeong-hoon, won a valuable bronze medal.

Joo Jeong-hoon, who lost his right wrist in an accident, defeated a Russian athlete 24-14 in the bronze medal match, becoming Korea's first taekwondo medalist.

Joo Jeong-hoon shed tears as he thought of the grandmother who raised him as a child and now has dementia.

[Junghoon Joo / Paralympic Taekwondo National Team: Grandmother, I'll see you once the game is over after spending a good time alone at the nursing home.]
