On the 2nd of the 10th day of the Tokyo Paralympics, a Taekwondo player who once abandoned participation due to the collapse of the Afghan government played the second Paralympic event in history as an Afghan woman.

Zakia Khudaddy, a 22-year-old Afghanistan national team with a disability from the time he was born, participated in the Taekwondo Women's 49kg class.

From Afghanistan, two people including Fuda Daddy were scheduled to participate in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, but the local Paralympic Committee is a means to safely travel to Japan after the Taliban seized power and the administration collapsed. Announced the abandonment of participation because there is no such thing.

In a video message, Hudadadi asked for help, saying, "Don't deprive Afghan women of their right to participate," but after that, the two evacuated abroad on a flight from France on the 28th of last month. After coming to Japan, I was able to participate in the tournament.

Fuda Daddy, the second Afghan woman to participate in the Paralympic Games since the 2004 Athens Games, faced the first round against Uzbekistan players at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City on the morning of the 2nd.

With a white veil, Fuda Daddy made a strong kick early on, leading the first round 6-5.

In the second and third rounds after that, he received kicks from his opponent in quick succession and was reversed, losing 12 to 17, but he showed an attitude of going forward and attacking until the end.

Fuda Daddy will be in the repechage from 5 pm.
