Sweden defeated Spain in the World Cup qualifier at home at Friends Arena.

Afterwards, national team captain Janne Andersson was very pleased with the effort that Hands' national team was responsible for.

- We win the match extremely fairly and we would almost have scored another goal.

The guys are doing this tactically as we want to play and have the discipline we need to have against this type of resistance.

"Top-three, definitely"

How high does Andersson hold this effort?

Very loud, he says.

- It is difficult to guard.

I think this is my 66th international or something, but it's one of the absolute best.

If you weigh everything in that we will build new and the resistance we face ... then it is top-three, definitely.

Friends kokade

The audience was back at Friends Arena and did their utmost to work out Blue and Yellow towards a victory.

To be able to invite them to this evening was special, says the league captain.

- That we have an audience on site and can invite them to this effort ... it's really, really fun.

Sweden now tops the World Cup qualifying group for Spain - with one match less played.

- We have put ourselves in a good position, but there are five matches left in this World Cup qualifier.

This was an important victory if you look at the table, says Andersson.
