When the European Championships were decided in the German Luhmühlen two years ago, the star Sara Algotsson Ostholt was missing, who took both Olympic silver individually and European Championship silver in teams.
A couple of months earlier, two of her best horses had died in a fire.
But now she is selected in the squad that will represent Sweden at the European Championships in Avenches, Switzerland on September 23-26.
- We do not have very many in the absolute top to choose from, but there are still more horses now that go four-star than before, the national team captain Fredrik Bergendorff in a press release.
Six riders ride the European Championships, four in teams and two individually.
Who rides in the team will be decided next week.
This year's European Championships will be decided in Avenches, Switzerland on September 23-26 and broadcast on SVT.
