The start with Real Madrid failing in its attempt to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on the last day of the transfers.

The summer witnessed the sudden transfer of Lionel Messi from Barcelona to Saint-Germain, while Real Madrid was looking for a resounding deal by trying to sign the most prominent young player currently in the world of the round witch.

Several reports in Spain stated that the royal offered an amount ranging from 150 million euros to 200 million euros to include the World Cup-winning player, whose contract with the French capital club expires next summer.

A source close to Saint-Germain said that the club had no intention of selling one of its most prominent players with the goal of winning the Champions League, and confirmed that there were doubts about the extent of Real Madrid's desire to pay such a huge amount.
