- You want to be an optimist and believe that it will go the way, but realistically it will not go against the world team the Netherlands, says Jacobsson.

The teams met in the group stage when the Netherlands won by 25-21.25-20.25-13 after Sweden stood up decently in two sets.

- But that match meant nothing because both teams were ready for the playoffs.

Now I think that the Netherlands has great respect for Sweden and has full focus from the start, says Jacobsson who keeps down Sweden's chances.

"98-2 in Dutch favor"

- In percentage, I would say 98-2 in Dutch favor, she says.

Oops, there was not much chance for Sweden?

- So small are the chances.

It should not work, but we said that before the Bulgaria match as well (which Sweden beat in the round of 16 last Saturday), says Jacobsson who believes that it was a 95-5 match in Bulgarian favor.

What is it that has made Sweden reach this far?

- Everyone talks about Isabelle Haak who got the others good but I would also like to highlight the disrespectful attitude in every match, says Jacobsson and points out that blocks and defense must work one hundred percent against the Netherlands which is world number nine and ranked fifth in Europe.

In the ranking released today, Sweden is 43rd in the world and 21st in Europe.

With the success in Romania, where the group game was decided, and Bulgaria, Sweden has already secured a place in the European Championship finals in 2023 without playing qualifiers.
