Sweden, Finland and Norway, among others, have already withdrawn from the tournament, which was to be played in Russian Irkutsk in October.

"With respect for the health of our players and others, Sweden cannot participate now."

said Per-Anders Gustafsson, chairman of the Swedish Bandy Association at the time in a press release.

Now the International Bandy Federation announces that the tournament will be moved to October 2022 instead.

In addition, it has been decided to cancel all international tournaments that would be played in 2021.

Ahead of next year's season, all players, leaders, referees and officials who will take part in international tournaments must be vaccinated.
