27-year-old Pernilla Lindberg was fifth in the trials.

And also in the final it was a fifth place for Lindberg.

But with a time of 2:32, 01 she set a new Swedish pairing record in the 200 meter medley.

Lindberg swam up properly in the backstroke and turned fifth before the freestyle and was able to keep his position in the finish.

She was 11.02 behind the winner Valeriia Sjabalina from Russia and only 2.40 from the medal.

Lindberg has previously in Tokyo finished fifth in the 200 meter freestyle and eight in the 100 meter breaststroke.

At the Paralympics in Rio 2016, she finished fourth in the distance.
