On August 30, in the women's weightlifting competition of the Tokyo Paralympic Games above 86 kg, Chinese athlete Deng Xuemei won the championship with a result of 153 kg, adding another gold medal for the Chinese delegation.
Li Zhinian Deng Xuemei was born in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province.
At the age of 13, Deng Xuemei was selected for the Jiangxi Provincial Weightlifting Team and began his weightlifting career. This practice lasted 17 years and was selected for the national team in 2013.
