For the first time since Robin Söderling's final in Båstad in 2011, a Swede played an ATP final last night.

But it was not a fun story for Mikael Ymer, who was the Swede who was responsible for the feat.

Big applause at the only game victory

90-ranked Ymer never got into the match.

He lost the first set by 0-6, and took only two games in the match: For 1-2 and 2-5 in the second set.

But then, on the other hand, he received great cheers and many warm applause from the audience in Winston-Salem, in American North Carolina.

Ymer made a lot of simple mistakes, and looked really resigned during large parts of the match.

The Belarusian victory was just as indisputable as the victory fros 6-0, 6-2 suggested.

Ymer won just two balls in Ivasjka's serve.

The tournament victory was 63-ranked llja Ivasjka's first on the ATP tour.
