Another big blow for Altrad in rugby.

The French specialist in building equipment, already jersey sponsor of the XV of France until 2023, has committed for a period of six years with the All Blacks from 2022, announced the New Zealand federation.

The group led by the billionaire of Syrian origin Mohed Altrad, already owner of the French club of Montpellier, in Top 14, will replace in January the American insurer AIG on the prestigious black tunic, long remained virgin of any sponsor.

Five other New Zealand caps will wear Altrad

It will also appear on that of the women's rugby union team, the Black Ferns, as well as four other New Zealand selections (rugby sevens men and women, Maori, under 20).

"Thanks to Altrad's support and international presence, we will continue to build our world heritage in rugby," said NZR boss Mark Robinson, quoted in the press release.

Mohed Altrad said he was "proud to start a long-term partnership and to start leaving a lasting mark in sport".
