The Japanese national team for the Tokyo Paralympics and Wheelchair Rugby defeated Australia, the number one in the world ranking, 57-53 in the final round of the qualifying league.
Japan decided to advance to the semi-finals in 1st place in Group A with all the wins in the qualifying league.
