Asako Takakura, the coach of Japan's national soccer team "Nadeshiko Japan", has announced that she will retire at the end of this month in response to an online interview.
Director Takakura, who has led Nadeshiko Japan since 2016, lost to Sweden in the quarterfinals at the Tokyo Olympics, where he was expected to win medals, and finished in the top eight.
