It took no more than five minutes before Slovakia's most successful ice hockey club, Bratislava, took the lead on away ice against Leksand.

Just over four minutes later came the extra time, and 2-0.

But before the second period, a new flame was lit and Leksand reduced through Oskar Lang who got the puck from Jonas Ahnelöv.

Eleven minutes into the second period, the equalizer also came.

This time the roles were reversed after Oskar Lang assisted Jonas Ahnelöv with the equalizer.

Ruohomaa match hero

A flame does not have the strength to burn for any length of time, like Leksand who lost momentum.

Two minutes after the equalizer, Bratislava took the lead again.

However, new energy was picked up with only five minutes left of the match.

The home team was back and equalized to 3-3.

With only two minutes left, Leksand completed the turnaround.

Slovan Bratislava ended up in a numerical disadvantage and Mikael Ruohomaa took advantage of the power play.

Ruohomaa became the match hero in front of the home supporters when he with his seconds left scored his second goal, and set the final score 5-3.
