Dejan Kulusevski left Atalanta and signed for Juventus ahead of last year's season.

Since then, he has accompanied Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, on the football field.

But now Ronaldo is leaving - and the attacking star is being hailed by the Swede.

"It has been an honor," the 21-year-old wrote on Instagram and continues:

"Wish you all the best on the pitch and in life".

Ronaldo joined the Italian big club in 2018, but is now returning to Manchester United, which he represented between 2003-2009.

Welcome to United

The 36-year-old has received more greetings on social media.

Among other things, the former cage keeper Edwin van der Sar, with a past at Manchester United, writes that he always dreamed of the move but did not expect it to happen.

"Welcome back to Manchester", van der Sar wrote on Twitter.

Patrice Evra, 40, played alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United.

"The biggest transition in football history", writes the Frenchman.

Ronaldo's new team includes captain Harry Maguire.

He also welcomes Ronaldo home, on Twitter.

The Juventus player, like Kulusevski, wishes good luck.

“Good luck with your next chapter, and thank you for taking me under your wings from the first minute after my arrival !!

You will be missed !! ”, the Canadian announces on Instagram.
