Two days after MFF was ready for group play in Europe's biggest football tournament for club teams, the groups were drawn in Istanbul.
There will be several big meetings already in the group stage, where Manchester City will meet PSG in group A and Barcelona will face Bayern Munich in group E. Malmö FF was drawn in group H together with reigning champions Chelsea and Dejan Kulusevskis and Cristiano Ronaldo Juventus.
Due to recommendations from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Malmö FF had no representatives present in Turkey during the draw.
The group game starts on 14-15 September.
MFF's place in the group stage means that the club receives at least SEK 170 million in revenue from Uefa (European Football Association).
