In recent seasons, Ben Thomas has mainly played for the AHL team Syracuse Crunch.
In total, he has scored 101 points in 319 AHL games, but last season he got the chance with the Tampa Bay Lightning a few times.
Now he is coming to Leksand and will cover for Johan Fransson, among others, who was injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this summer.
