Last night, the Swedish handball ladies secured promotion to the round of 16 in the European Volleyball Championship.

Sweden received help from Finland, who beat Romania 3-1 - which secured Sweden's place in the playoffs.

- It's just pure joy, I must say.

It felt incredible when Finland took that last set, says Isabelle Haak to SVT Sport.

The dream of moving on was born after Sweden's successful qualifier in May, when the team secured their European Championship ticket.

- We probably had not dared to dream about this (when we started the qualifying game).

It was after the qualifiers that we set the goal that it is reasonable to move on from the group.

We already showed during the qualifying game that we have a good level and it is nice that we managed to produce it during the European Championships as well, Haak continues.

Now a final group game match against the Netherlands awaits on Wednesday, a match that Haak is looking forward to.

- It will be fun to show us and test our level against theirs, we are very motivated before this match and we will do everything we can, says Isabelle Haak.

Sweden meets the Netherlands on Wednesday and the match will be broadcast on SVT1 at 16.25.
