In a statement published on the RFU website, it is noted that a meeting of clubs was held in the RPL, during which there was no vote, and representatives of the teams simply exchanged views.

In addition, the Dutch company Hypercube, which investigates the state of Russian football, continues to work and intends to conduct a number of video broadcasts with club owners in order to answer questions and discuss their proposals.

"From the first day of work, Hyperсube is open to a constructive dialogue: criticism, questions and counter suggestions are only welcome, since the goal of the Dutch partners is to develop an optimal solution taking into account the views of all interested parties," the statement says.

The RFU emphasizes that Russian football needs changes, so the best reform option will be developed through a general discussion.

“Voting of RPL clubs will take place at the general meeting on August 31.

After that, the position of the clubs will be sent to the RFU Executive Committee for consideration.

The decision on the format of the competition is fixed by the executive committee.

Potential changes in the limit for legionnaires are subsequently approved by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, ”the statement reads.

The RFU came forward on August 23 with a proposal to abandon the limit on legionnaires.

The corresponding proposal was sent to RPL clubs.

At the moment, the RPL has a limit on foreign players according to the "8 + 17" scheme.

Thus, each team can enter no more than eight legionnaires for the season.

Earlier, the head of the RFU said that there is no coaching school in Russia now.
