Along with the Tokyo Paralympics, there is a corner in Koto-ku, Tokyo where children can actually experience the competition.

Elementary and junior high school students and their parents can actually experience the Paralympic Games at the two experience corners in Aomi, Koto-ku.

In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, participation is limited to 1000 people every 2 hours, and the temperature is thoroughly measured and disinfected.

You can experience about 10 competitions such as wheelchair basketball and boccia. Of these, in wheelchairs for competition, children used to use unfamiliar hands to move the part called the hand rim on the wheel carefully.

Also, in Boccia, where red and blue balls are thrown to compete for how close they can be to a white target ball, they aimed at the target ball while adjusting their strength and touched on the delicacy of the competition.

A 4th grade girl in a wheelchair said, "It was difficult to turn, but it was fun. I was also interested in competitions, so I would like to see the competition."

In the third grade of elementary school, when he experienced boccia, the boy said, "I was able to throw it near the target ball. I want to do my best to support the players."

This experience corner is scheduled to be set up until the 5th of next month, and panels introducing the rules for each competition are also on display at the venue.
