Dubai Sports Council wins two awards in "International Business 2021"

Dubai Sports Council said that it won a bronze medal in two categories of the International Business Awards Best in Biz 2021, which is the independent global award whose files are judged and award winners are selected by prominent editors and correspondents from high-level publishing institutions from around the world.

The Council won a bronze medal in the category of the best work environment, which is awarded to the entity that provides work regulations and regulations for the employees of the Council and the efforts made to develop them at the professional level and make them happy.

The council also won a bronze medal in the category of best innovative service for this year, which was awarded to the "Human Resources Pulse" device designed and implemented by the Dubai Sports Council through its national cadres, which provides 43 smart services to the council's employees that contribute to shortening time and saving resources, and the possibility of obtaining documents in Any time of the day, seven days a week.

A statement issued by the Dubai Sports Council said that the Council is the first Arab institution to receive a bronze medal in this global award, which was established in North America by the Committee of Independent Experts in 2011. The Dubai Sports Council competed with more than 80 government and private institutions and agencies from different countries of the world.

The company organizing the award said in a press statement, “With the ongoing and unprecedented repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic at the global level, the year 2021 continued to be a year full of challenges and obstacles for many industries and companies, and despite that, this year witnessed, as is the case every year. The Organizing Committee for Best in Biz Awards applied the same strict criteria to compete to maintain the quality level of participants from different countries of the world, and fewer winners were selected in all categories, which made the achievements of this year’s winners commendable.”

The winners of the ninth annual program were determined based on the scores of an independent panel of judges from a wide range of high-profile global media and economic organizations from 10 countries, including the United States of America, Germany, Canada, Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, India and Israel. Consumers, Financial, Commercial and Technology only, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, served as judges in the Best in Biz Awards.

The “Human Resources Pulse” device is one of the most important initiatives launched by the Council to follow up the innovation approach of the Government of Dubai, and to provide smart solutions in the work environment to make employees happy and serve them, as well as improve time and resources.
