Juventus fans in particular, and football in general, were waiting for the first appearance of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo with his team Juventus this season, after the news that he had left in the summer Mercato for "Juve".

This news of departure is no longer rumours, but rather persistent attempts by Ronaldo and his agent to find another team to move to this season before the summer transfer market closes at the end of this month, but media reports revealed that the "old lady" team did not receive any offers to join the "Don".

However, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that he decided to sit Ronaldo on the bench in Juventus' 2-2 draw with its host Udinese in the first stage of the Italian League, and not at the player's request.

And the "Sky Italaia" network reported that Ronaldo asked to sit on the bench with Juventus opening his league matches in order to maintain his fitness as he seeks to leave the club.

The Portuguese striker participated in the 60th minute and scored a header in added time, but the video referee canceled the goal for offside.

Allegri told the media that "Ronaldo is in good condition. I spoke to him before the match and told him to sit on the bench. (Ronaldo) made himself available to play and performed well after his participation."

Juventus seemed on the way to an easy victory in the first official match in the return of Allegri for a second period, after he advanced with goals by Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado in the first 23 minutes.

But goalkeeper Chesney made two mistakes, so Udinese equalized through Roberto Pereira (penalty kick) and Gerard Deulofeu.
