Elaine Thompson-Herah won Olympic gold in both the 100 meters and 200 meters during the Games in Tokyo.

In addition, she was part of the Jamaican team that won gold in the relay, 4x400 meters.

One of the biggest competitors before the Olympics was the American, Sha'Carri Richardson.

But the 21-year-old star was suspended in the face due to doping and was not allowed to take a place on the starting line.

When the Diamond League on Saturday night Swedish time had gone to Eugene, Oregon, USA, Richardson was back on the starting line and would show that she will be counted on again in the future.

But Richardson - who is usually fast out of the starting blocks normally - did not have a chance.

Thompson-Herah won in the impressive time of 10.54, which is the second fastest time of all time.

Creeps closer to the world record

The Jamaican had previously run 100 meters at 10.61.

But now she has broken her own personal record and is even closer to Florence Griffith Joyner's world record of 10.49, which has stood since 1988.

- It has been thought that it is a slightly impossible world record to break.

But 10.54 is really impressive, says SVT's expert, Alhaji Jeng.

Thompson-Herah himself could not believe in the victory time after the finish.

- It felt good.

I wanted to win and when I saw the time I thought "oh my God!".

I just wanted to come here and have fun, she says after the victory at the future World Cup arena in Eugene.

Sha'Carri Richardson did not have a good race at all and finished last.
