Just like the classic Vasaloppet, Cykelvasan runs between the towns of Sälen and Mora.
Yesterday, 2021 Cykelvasa was decided and it was a big favorite that took home the victory after over three hours of cycling.
She won in the time 3.11.23.
46-year-old Jennie Stenerhag has previously won the competition four times and yesterday she took home her fifth victory after a close sprint battle.
- A riot is always difficult and I think it was the hardest sprint I have ever done because I probably saw stars towards the end, says Jennie Stenerhag to Vasaloppet.se.
The victory was thus Stenerhag's fifth.
She has previously taken home Cykelvasan 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
On the men's side, the Norwegian Kristian Klevgård won.
