An Egyptian broadcaster suspended for describing Al-Ahly fans as "naive and idiots"

The Egyptian "On Time Sports" channels suspended Medhat Shalaby, presenter of the "Massa On" program, from working until the end of the season, due to statements that dealt with the reactions of Al-Ahly fans about the Ismaili and Zamalek match.

ON TIME SPORTS said in a statement today, Friday: “Based on the constant endeavor to provide purposeful sports media and content in line with the media code of honor and in order to establish the principle of respect for all spectra of Egyptian football fans, the management of ON TIME SPORTS channels decided to stop the appearance of the media, Medhat Shalaby, until the end of the season."

Medhat Shalaby had criticized the rumors spread through the communication sites about the Ismaili club's failure to play the Zamalek match, which took place between them on August 14.

Medhat Shalaby said that the statements to “miss the match” are not issued “except by naive and idiots.” He added: “I want to ask idiots;

How will the miss happen?

Will Ihab Galal, Ismaili coach, enter the dressing room asking his players to lose against Zamalek?
