Al Jazira, the defending champion, started the ADNOC Professional League season by defeating Al Dhafra with two goals without a response in the match that brought them together yesterday, at Mohamed Zayed Stadium, as part of the first stage of the competition.

Al-Jazira ended the first half with a goal scored by Abdullah Ramadan (22), then the Brazilian Joao Victor Sa added the second goal (70).

With these two goals, "Abu Dhabi Pride" scored a historical record by scoring 65 goals against Al Dhafra, becoming more than scored against the opponent in 23 confrontations that brought the two teams together since the start of the professional league, compared to only 35 goals scored by Al Dhafra.

Despite his suffering to win the victory, the start seems good for Al Jazeera, as the ball has been at the feet of the stars of Al Jazeera all the time, since the beginning of the match, amid a significant retreat for Al Dhafra players in their half of their stadium to close the places leading to goalkeeper Abdullah Sultan's goal.

Al-Jazira felt that the match had escaped from between the feet of his players, so his offensive attempts were somewhat fierce and he got a free kick from outside the box, presented to it by the "specialist", Kosanovic, and he shot in the hands of the goalkeeper (19), and three minutes later Abdullah Ramadan succeeded in ending the men's adventure Syrian coach Abdullah Kouid, after receiving Omar Traore's pass that hit the defense of the visiting team, and put the ball easily to the left of the goalkeeper.

Al Dhafra's performance changed after the goal, and he was given a bit of control amid attempts by Muhammad Ismail, his best player in this half, who emerged on the right, but his attempts ended at the defenders' feet.

There was a real chance for Al Jazeera to confirm his progress through Ali Mabkhout, who was unique in the goal, but did not improve his behavior in the ball (40).

Goalkeeper Abdullah Sultan managed to keep the goal difference with Al Jazira, when he saved two balls one minute before the end of the first half, one of them by Ali Mabkhout, and the other from Zayed Al Ameri, who fired a missile from outside the box, and the goalkeeper caught him twice.

The shape of the match did not change in the second half, as the possession remained in place for Al Jazira, and with him, Zayed Al Ameri missed an opportunity to score from a shot inside the box, which was caught by the Al Dhafra goalkeeper (47).

Al-Dhafra responded with an attempt by Khaled Butti from the right, who distributed a cross to Muhammad Ismail, playing it directly over the crossbar (51).

Joao Victor Sa put his mark in the nets of Abdullah Sultan, in his first appearance in the Al-Jazira shirt, from a gift he received from Ali Mabkhout and skillfully placed it inside the goal.
