Östersund is this year's rocket on the list.

Last year, they managed the top 25 with the smallest margin.

This year, the city will be sixth in the 50 jury members' assessment.

Zebastian Modin, Hanna Öberg, Sebastian Samuelsson, Jonna Sundling and Ski Classics winner Emil Persson are some of those who train around the ski stadium in everyday life.

And ÖSK's Linn Svahn took seven VC victories and became this year's female athlete at the sports gala.

The basketball men made it to the Swedish Championship semifinals and the ladies advanced to the SBL.

Karlstad at the top as usual

Karlstad is a sports city that delivers year after year.

Since 2013, the city has ended up in the top five on this list all but one, but never won.

Far from metropolitan regions and big money, Karlstad manages to deliver both breadth and elite.

An association life strongly characterized by tradition, innovation and non-profit forces that strengthen Sweden's various national teams as well as the country's public health, says viewer jury Hans Albrektsson who had Karlstad as his number one.

Uppsala, with its width like Karlstad, has subscribed to the top 10 places in this ranking.

In the past year, it is above all Upsala IF's Armand Duplantis who has hovered highest among the stars, literally.

Uppsala will also have three SSL teams on the men's side this autumn since Hagaby joins Storvreta and Sirius.
