The Air Sports Federation presented the national team with five colored medals, gold, two silver and two bronze, in the World Parachute Championships held in Russia yesterday, to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, in light of his continuous and unlimited support for air sports.

The President of the Emirates Air Sports Federation, Nasr Hammouda Al Neyadi, thanked His Highness for his patronage and support of air sports in general, and parachute jumps in particular, which contributed to the game reaching a prestigious global position, noting that the family of air sports was very keen to provide an achievement. Al Neyadi continued: "All greetings and appreciation to the (Skydive Dubai) family, which provided technical support to the players of our national team to confirm their brilliant superiority in this global event, and had it not been for the great support received by air sports from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and (Skydive). For his part, the golden champion Abdul Bari Al Qubaisi expressed his happiness with this achievement, noting that the preparation stages had a great impact on his performance, and that it led him to take first place in the goal competition, achieving the full mark (200 points) and the gold of the competition, as stated in Second place in the distance competition in which he won the silver, as well as in the general arrangement.

As for Cornella Mihai, who won bronze in the distance and general arrangement, she said she was very happy to rise to the podium, stressing that the two medals would be a great motivation for her to continue achieving achievements.
