A mysterious tweet by Rami Abbas - the agent of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah - sparked speculation about the Egyptian international's contract with the Reds.

Ramy Abbas posted a tweet in which he wrote, "I hope they watch," shortly after the Egyptian star scored Liverpool's third goal against Norwich City on Saturday.

And press reports considered that the tweet confirms the information circulated about the lack of agreement so far to extend Salah’s contract with Liverpool.

I hope they're watching.

Captain Virgil van Dijk became the latest player to sign a new long-term contract with Liverpool, after Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Fabinho, in a move that came in response to coach Jurgen Klopp's request, who confirmed that securing the future of the club's players was the most important work this summer.

Salah managed to lead Liverpool to win three times at its host Norwich City, after scoring a goal in the 74th minute, and making two more goals for his colleagues Diogo Jota in the 26th minute, and Roberto Firmino in the 65th minute.

The victory gave Liverpool 3 points at the start of the team's campaign in the English Premier League, and sent a message to the fans about the team's ability to compete again for the Premier League title, which the team ceded last season to Manchester City.

If you can start your season like @MoSalah, always start your season like @MoSalah.
