Rally driver Oliver Solberg started yesterday's eight distances in the WC competition in Belgium with a big lead.

Second-placed competitor Jari Huttunen received a puncture and this allowed Solberg to deduct further.

But the Swede, who was responsible for another good race with the map reader Aaron Johnston, had problems with the power steering.

- I'm in so much pain!

I have driven 85 kilometers without servo, fast and I have pushed everything I have.

We have not been that far from the times, only 20-30 seconds, and that's okay.

But ... never again, never again, says Solberg and laughs about the power test on Saturday's distances, he said after yesterday's rally to SVT Sport.

Today he got bigger worries.

The car refused to start before start section 18, which took off at 09.00 on Sunday morning.

"Unfortunately, we have sad news to share this morning," he wrote on Instagram.

“A technical error in parc fermé has forced us to withdraw from the WRC2 management at the ypres rally.

Unfortunately, the car did not start due to an electrical fault, and that is the end of our rally "

The competition is ongoing.
