In addition, there will be clarity in the process of television broadcasting the matches, which helps the video referee to take the right decision as soon as possible, following the contract of the Football Association with the new company for the application of video referee technology (Eye of the Saqr), which specializes in this technology in the framework of the efforts of the Federation The ball is to develop the arbitration system from various aspects, upgrade it and enhance the reputation and great prestige enjoyed by Emirati arbitration, pointing out that workshops were held with clubs and their players that dealt with the application of the mouse technique, the law of the game, integrity, player representation, and delaying play, stressing that The Referees Committee held a special workshop on the implementation of the Video Referee Protocol by referees, along withApplying the football law simultaneously, unlike in the past, when the referees applied the football law.

Mohamed Omar told "Emirates Today": "The application of video referee technology during the next season will witness a major transformation, as the television transmission of the matches will be clear, and this matter will help the referee in making the decision as soon as possible."

Muhammad Omar indicated that the name of the video referees was changed, to become the video assistant referees.

The Vice-Chairman of the Referees Committee added, “For us in the Referees Committee, we find great interest from Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Football Association, as his recent contact with the stadium judges during their external camp through video communication is a great morale boost for the referees, encouraging them and instilling confidence in them. And I hope that the rulers are up to the responsibility.”

Mohamed Omar pointed out that the new company that the Football Association contracted with in the field of video technology is the first company in the world in this field, and it is one of the companies dealt with by the International Football Association and the European and Asian Federations.

A technique for “crossing the goal line”

Muhammad Omar said, “With regard to the goal-line technology, regarding whether the ball crosses the goal line or not, there will be a clock system, as if the ball crosses the goal line, the clock will make a certain sound alerting the referee, and this matter is not currently applied to us, and the Federation The International Football Association will apply it in international matches only, but if (FIFA) officially implements it, we will apply it in the UAE League.”

He continued: "The video referee's mistakes are present in football, and their absence is impossible, but we spoke with the referees in this aspect, and we assured them that the outstanding referee and the least arbitrary mistakes will continue, and we stressed the importance of applying the principle of reward and punishment."

He stressed that the video referee's license was previously issued by the Football Legislative Council, but is currently issued by FIFA, indicating that this point is very important.
