Al-Ahly is afraid of “missing” Ismaili for his decisive match with Zamalek
Al-Ahly officials and their fans expressed their deep fear that Ismaily would miss his match with Zamalek, which will take place today, Saturday, in the Egyptian Football League.
This fear comes in light of the statements made by former coaches and players in the Ismaili Club, who stressed the difficulty of the Dervishes playing with the same strength with which they fought their match against Al-Ahly on Thursday, Wednesday, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
And the former marketing director of Al-Ahly Club, Engineer Adly Al-Qai’i, said that all the evidence is that we will not watch a “fair” sports match between Ismaili and Zamalek, after all Zamalek and Ismaili members stressed that the meeting would bring cousins together.
He added in statements on Al-Ahly channel: “History will be written for the Ismaili, whether he played in a sporting spirit against Zamalek or not. We hoped that the statements that came out of the Ismaili affiliates would not carry any emotional expressions against the opposing team for them and us as well.”
Al-Qaei pointed out: “We are in Al-Ahly when we try to think of others, and it is assumed that Ismaili is led by his coach, known to the sports community for his good manners, and I do not hope that his image will be affected after the Zamalek match.”
Zamalek will play Al-Ismaili at nine in the evening, UAE time, nine in Egypt, and the victory of the White Castle in that match will ensure close to winning the league title, which it has been absent for six seasons.
