Salem Al-Suraidi: “We are pleased with the success of the tournament, technically and organizationally, thanks to the experience and spirit of the team work, and the support of the Federation of Body Building and Fitness.”

The Dibba Bodybuilding and Physics Championship, which was held at the Meydan Hotel in Dubai, and recently concluded, achieved a number of technical and organizational gains that confirmed the qualitative leap for Emirati bodybuilding, through the technical levels presented by the participants.

The tournament revealed the superiority of the Emirati players, who won 26 colored medals.

In this context, Salem Khamis Al-Suraidi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, described the tournament as revealing distinguished sports talents that could have a broad sporting future, which gave the tournament the same prestige that was characterized in previous editions by the emergence of champions capable of bodybuilding and physics.

Al-Suraidi told Emirates Al-Youm: "In the first and second editions, this tournament has explored distinguished players who were able to join the national team, most notably the World Cup winner Khalifa Berman, who won two gold medals in the World Championships held in Fujairah, and the current version has resulted in a new distinction for talented players. And we hope that they will be of great importance in the future.”

He added, "We are pleased with the success of the tournament, technically and organizationally, in accordance with the precautionary measures, which was achieved thanks to the experience and spirit of the work team, the support of the Emirates Federation for Body Building and Fitness, sponsors and the wonderful commitment of the public, which enabled us to produce a distinguished copy."
