The Italian team advanced to fifth place, one place ahead of the England team, and the summer of "Euro 2020".

Argentina climbed to sixth place after star Lionel Messi ended his fasting for titles and led his country to crown the continental title at the expense of Brazil.

Belgium topped the rankings, despite its exit from the European Nations Cup quarter-finals, while Brazil came second despite losing to Argentina in the Copa America final.

France ranked third, followed by England in fourth, and Italy in fifth.

Argentina ranked sixth, Spain ranked seventh, Portugal ranked eighth, Mexico ranked ninth, and America ranked tenth.

The US team advanced 10 places in the rankings after winning the Gold Cup, but remained behind Mexico, the runner-up for the continental championship.

Qatar, host of the 2022 World Cup, advanced to 42nd place, after jumping 16 places to equal its best position, which it reached in 1993.

The breakthrough achieved by the Qatari national team came after reaching the semi-finals of the Gold Cup.

Japan topped the ranking of Asian teams, occupying 24th place, while Senegal topped the African teams' ranking.

Tunisia tops the rankings (28 in the world rankings), followed by Algeria (30 globally) and Morocco (32 globally), while "Al Annabi" ranked fourth in the Arab world (42 globally).
