Mohamed Salah challenges Messi and Neymar for the most important prizes 2021
The official website of the Golden Foot Award announced the presence of the top scorer of the Liverpool team and the Egyptian national team, Mohamed Salah, at the top of the list of candidates to win the title for the year 2021 in the 19th edition.
According to the award’s official website, the list of nominees for the 2021 award included: “Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Neymar, Mohamed Salah, Sergio Ramos, Sergio Aguero, Gerard Pique, Karim Benzema, Romelu Lukaku, and Giorgio Chiellini.”
Salah won the Golden Boot, as the Premier League's top scorer in two consecutive seasons, and Liverpool won, during the Egyptian player's presence, the Champions League and English Premier League titles.
