China News Service, Beijing, August 12th. On the 12th, the official blog of the China Adventure Association issued an announcement stating that on July 29th, an accident occurred in the Tengger Desert Expedition Project organized by it. 16-year-old student Zheng passed away.
The association is currently maintaining communication with the families of the victims and fully cooperating with the public security organs.

This is the second statement issued by the China Exploration Association on this matter. On August 5, its official blog notified the matter.
However, there were no more details about the incident in the two notifications.
According to the website of the China Adventure Association, the organization was established in March 1993. It is a national first-level society under the dual leadership of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Central Committee, and the Work Committee of State Organs.
