Tove Alexandersson is facing three World Cup races in four days in Idre, at the same time as she is sprained by the coronavirus she contracted a week and a half after the World Cup success in July.

Instead of hard summer training, Alexandersson had to isolate himself at home in the apartment in Falun for a week.

And tomorrow is the toughest possible restart, with long distance in the World Cup at Idrefjäll.

- The shape is as it is, but I still feel that I am recovered enough to be able to compete, she says.

Won the World Cup six years in a row

Alexandersson has of course won the World Cup six years in a row, and leads by far this year.

She has swept clean in both the sprint EC and the forest WC, so now it remains to be seen if corona can stop her more than the competitors have managed.

- Now the shape is a bit uncertain.

For my part, I would have liked to have had to wait a few more weeks, so that I would have felt that I had started one hundred percent, but it will be very fun regardless, she says.

The World Cup in Idre is decided with long distance on Thursday, medium distance on Saturday, and relay on Sunday.
