The president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, said that the team's contracts this summer raised the value of the club by about 500 million euros, and stressed that the arrival of Argentine star Lionel Messi brought offers to sponsor the team in huge amounts.

Al-Khelaifi spoke in an interview with "BN Sports" about the contract with the former Barcelona star, and said, "Many and big clubs called him, and offered him larger sums, but he chose Paris Saint-Germain."

He pointed out that the Argentine star is seeking to consolidate his record with more titles with Paris Germain, and broke the record of Brazilian defender Dani Alves, the most crowned player in the history of football with 43 titles.

He added, "We expect a lot from him on the field, our ambition is great and we do not hide it, Messi will bring a lot to the club on and off the field."

Al-Khelaifi considered that Saint-Germain made the best transfer market in the last ten years, after successfully securing the services of Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi, Spaniard Sergio Ramos, Italian Gianolegi Donarona and Dutchman Georgino Wijnaldum.

He stressed that contracting with these stars raised the value of the club by about half a billion euros, noting that the value of the team moved from 70 million euros 10 years ago to about 3 billion euros today, without calculating the value of the stadium and training center.

He explained that contracting with Messi brought the club sponsorship offers with various companies in huge amounts.

Al-Khelaifi concluded by saying that the club has won a great player, but has not yet won anything on the field, and stressed that the team aspires to win all possible titles during the current season.
