Yusuke Watanabe was selected as the representative of the shooting at the Tokyo Paralympic Shooting with an additional quota.

This was announced by the Japan Sports Shooting Federation for the Disabled.

Two people were selected to represent the shooting of the Tokyo Paralympic Games, but this month, the IPC = International Paralympic Committee notified the Japan Paralympic Committee that it would give Yusuke Watanabe, a rifle event, an additional quota. I was decided to be the representative.

Watanabe is a mixed air rifle ambush aiming at a target 10 meters away and a mixed rifle ambush aiming at a target 50 meters away, both in the "SH1" class where he holds a gun with his arm and shoots. I will participate.

Watanabe is 45 years old from Hiroshima prefecture.

I belonged to the archery club when I was in college.

After losing his right arm in an accident in 2004, he started shooting and won the mixed rifle prone shooting event for the third time in a row at the All Japan Championship last year.
