Soccer J1 Sagan Tosu forward Daichi Hayashi, who was also active as the Japanese national team for the Tokyo Olympics, will be completely transferred to the Belgian First Division team.

According to the announcement, Sagan Tosu forward Daichi Hayashi has reached a basic agreement between the two teams to completely transfer to Sint-Truiden in the Belgian First Division.

Hayashi is 24 years old from Osaka.

After graduating from Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences, he joined Sagan Tosu as a professional player and has participated in 52 J1 league games, scoring 14 goals.

A striker with a strong fighting spirit toward the goal, he is good at getting out of the defense, while also contributing to ball keeping in post play and defense from the front line.

Initially, the Japanese national team of the Tokyo Olympics was selected as a backup member, but the number of players on the team has expanded and they started in five games as one-top.

Five Japanese players, including defender Daiki Hashioka, who participated in the Olympics with Hayashi, already belong to Sint-Truiden.

Hayashi said, "I'm just grateful to the team who respected my thoughts even in the middle of the season. I'm waiting for a tough fight in my first overseas challenge, but the regrets of the Olympics are springing up and I'll do my best. I will do my best to play and contribute to the victory of the team. "

According to Sagan Tosu, Hayashi's ceremony will be held after the match against FC Tokyo at home on the 9th.
