The disaster in Japan, the same in Mexico.
French winger Florian Thauvin, just back from the Tokyo Olympics, was excluded after only half an hour of play on Saturday for his first match in the jersey of the Mexican club of the Tigers of Monterrey, against the club of Santos.
The red card for the former Marseillais was released in the 33rd minute, while the former OM player returned to defense in the right lane.
Omar Campos, Santos player, had just run over and cross when he was tackled, late and from behind, by Thauvin.

Reduced to 10, the Tigers were led 1-0 before snatching the draw (1-1).
Returned from the Tokyo Games like Thauvin, André Pierre Gignac did not play this match with the Tigers, still suffering from his right leg (ankle ligament, hematoma on the fibula).
