The disaster in Japan, the same in Mexico.

French winger Florian Thauvin, just back from the Tokyo Olympics, was excluded after only half an hour of play on Saturday for his first match in the jersey of the Mexican club of the Tigers of Monterrey, against the club of Santos.

The red card for the former Marseillais was released in the 33rd minute, while the former OM player returned to defense in the right lane.

Omar Campos, Santos player, had just run over and cross when he was tackled, late and from behind, by Thauvin.

The referee took out a yellow card, which was immediately transformed into red after consulting the video referee.

Thauvin then left the field, under the whistles and even the boos of part of the Mexican supporters of the Tigers.

Injured by Thauvin's tackle, Campos also had to leave the pitch.

" Learn from one's mistakes "

After the match, Florian Thauvin apologized on Twitter: “I wanted to apologize for this awkward gesture.

I would have preferred it to go better tonight, unfortunately that's how it is.

You have to learn from your mistakes and move on.

Thank you all for your messages.

Kudos to the team for the reaction.

Come on Tigers.

"

Quería exonerated por este gesto torpe.

Hubiera preferido que fuera mejor esta noche, lamentably asíes.

hay que aprender de los errores y seguir adelante.

gracias a todos por sus mensajes.

Felicitaciones al equipo por la reacción.

Reduced to 10, the Tigers were led 1-0 before snatching the draw (1-1).

Returned from the Tokyo Games like Thauvin, André Pierre Gignac did not play this match with the Tigers, still suffering from his right leg (ankle ligament, hematoma on the fibula).
