Today, the delegation of the national beach soccer team left for Belarus to set up an outdoor camp for a week in preparation for the World Cup, which will be held in Russia from August 19 to 29. The team will play in Group B alongside Mozambique, Spain and Tahiti.

The final list of the national team participating in the World Cup included 14 players chosen by the national coach, Muhammad Al-Mazmi, and they are: Muhammad Abdullah, Hamid Jamal, Saeed Eid, Ali Hassan Karim, Hisham Montaser, Ali Muhammad, Walid Muhammad, Walid Bishr, Ahmed Bishr, Abbas Ali, Hussein Ali, Hassan Al Hammadi, Kamal Ali, and Haitham Al Kaabi. In a press statement, the director of the beach soccer team, Badr Hareb, said: “During the camp, the team will play two friendly matches against its counterpart, Belarus, on 12 and 13, after which it will leave for Russia to set up another camp until the date of the tournament.” The technical staff, in coordination with the Beach Soccer Committee, is proceeding in the required manner, and that the team has benefited greatly from the past gatherings and the friendly tournaments it has played, especially the recent Ukraine Cup, in which the team achieved second place.

And the Football Association had completed all procedures for the participation of our team in the World Cup, where comprehensive medical examinations were conducted for the players to ensure their safety before traveling, under the supervision of the Medical Committee of the Federation, in addition to other administrative matters.
